I met Madeleine and Abi during our freshman year, Abi was in the Arts and Culture cohort with me, and Madeleine was in the International politics cohort. A few months into freshman year we all became close friends.
As COVID pushed all of our classes online, Madeleine, Abi, and I decided to make the most of the situation, with our tour of the west coast. Over spring break, they flew out to my home in New Mexico, and we began our road trip. We stopped in Salt Lake and Lake Tahoe, before making our way to the Oregon coast. Every weekend we explored different parts of Oregon, and when the semester was over we took the long way home. We saw the redwoods, San Francisco, and Yosemite. It was so great traveling with such great people, and I can’t wait for the many more adventures to come. I am grateful for my time in WLP, and the wonderful friendships that I formed during my time in the program
