Visiting the WLP

Admitted Student Days

We encourage students admitted to the WLP to join us for Inside GW: Admitted Students Days in April. Colonial Welcome Days will allow you to experience what life is like as a GW Colonial. While you are here you can meet with deans, faculty and advisors, take campus tours, talk with GW students and preview the residence halls.

WLP holds a lunchtime information session during Colonial Welcome Days to allow you to speak to students, graduate assistants and faculty. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about WLP. Register for these events through the GW Admissions Activity Center.

Colonial Inauguration

All enrolling WLP students should attend one Colonial Inauguration (CI) session during the summer. CI is an award-winning program designed to prepare students for academic rigor at GW, to welcome students to the GW family, and to acquaint students with our campus resources.

The Women’s Leadership Program hosts its own CI session to answer student and parent questions, review required courses and registration, discuss symposia, and introduce you to fellow students in the WLP program.
